Mendearen hasieran izurdeak sarritan hurbildu ziren Leioako Lamiako ertzera. Lamiakoren antzinako sinesmenak hemen gauzatu ziren izurdeek eta haien jolasek iradokitzen zituztelako? Hori al da agian «Lamiako» izenaren jaioterria?

. Nolanahi ere, itsasadarraren ahoa, duela gutxi arte, faunaren babesleku nabarmena zen. Baina, batzuen gutizia gaiztoak eta besteen ezjakintasunak, eguzki sinplea bihurtu zuten aberats berrien etxe eta lantegietarako. Bizitza naturalarentzako lekurik ez zegoen.

Nerbioiren biktima izan zen industrializazioak, hamarkadetan, diruaren zati berdinak eta naturaren degradazioa ekarri zituen. Baliteke orain gure anaien errugabeen bizitza, gizakiak ez diren beste izaki sentiarazleak, Euskal Herriko zati hori gurekin partekatzera itzultzea, handik gutxira leku txiki bat uztea adostu ondoren.

Ahora puede ser el momento para que la vida inocente de nuestros hermanos, los otros seres sintientes no humanos , retornen a compartir con nosotros esa parte de Euskal Herria, a poco que consintamos en dejarles un poco de sitio.
